April 21, 2007 - Once a week I "tear"
down the rats' cage (a Ferplast Mito aviary),
clean it thoroughly, and then "build" it up again. This takes me
several hours, because I always end up spending a lot of time redecorating
the cage, as you can see for yourself in the
video
clip and/or on the pictures.
When the cage is all fresh, clean and redecorated,
the rats are allowed back in. It's always a big
disappointment for me when the next morning they've already totally messed
up all my hard work. But hey, that's life for us rat slave-owners.
