Rat age calculator

October 20, 2007 - A couple of years ago I first came across the excellent ratty website Rat Behavior and Biology, which featured among other things a table comparing rat and human ages. The table only provided a general idea of how old my boys were in "human years", but I wanted to know exacly. So I created the rat age calculator, which in time has become one of the more popular pages of this website.

Today I've uploaded an updated version of the age calculator. These are the main new/updated features:

• You can view and/or print a yearly birthday calendar of all your rats' "human birthdays".
  
• You can save all your rats, so you can review them with one click when you revisit the calculator later on.
  
• You can calculate the age of your rat not only as of today, but at any given date.
  
• Your rat's name is included when you link to the calculator from your own website or blog.
  
• The calculator speaks Dutch as well as English. More languages could be added in the future, if there's a serious demand.
