Here are... Dino & Elvis
August 29, 2010 - Yesterday I went down to
Rattery Ratcity to "finally"
collect Dino &
Elvis. Actually Dino was old enough to move up
here already a couple of weeks ago, but because he couldn't move up here
alone he had to wait until Elvis was old and big enough. Mind you, Elvis is
still very small (he's only 104 grams), so introducing the both of them to
the rest of my pack will have to wait another
week or so.
So for now they're staying in my spare cage (the
old cage). They're slowly adjusting to their new
environment, and to their new master. This morning I got them to climb right
out of the cage up my arm, but at the moment they are savely hiding again
inside the tunnel hammock. But I'm sure it won't be long before they'll be
begging for attention, just like the other four.
My nephew of almost four years just came by to check out
the new kids. He really likes it when they climb up and down the wiring of
the cage. And he has already come up with a nickname for Elvis: Elvie.
