Ulixes requiescat in pace
March 28, 2011 - Just before the weekend I found a
small kind of lump on Ulixes' neck/chest. Today
the lump had already grown to about 2 cm. So I took him to the
vet, and she agreed with me that
it would be better for Ullie to have him put to sleep.
Just before I took Ulixes to the vet I put him and his
brother and lifelong companion, Uisce, in the
trasnport basket, and I gave them both a ratty cookie. I can't think of a
better a way for them to say their goodbyes. For company, comfort and
support I usually take at least two rats to the vet's, but this time I left
Uisce at home, because I already knew what was coming...
