Q & Q

December 11, 2011 - It wasn't too long after Uisce died that I decided it was finally time to give in and Get More Rats. At that time Kraken was old but still going strong (well, strongish anyway), so if I would get two more, then I'd end up with five max. However, it took a little longer than I'd originally anticipated. Nevertheless, now finally, almost six months later, I proudly present the two latest additions to my pack: Quintis & Q.

Quintis & Q were born November 10 at Rattery Ratcity, location Veenendaal. Their father is Ratcity's Charlie, a black miskmarked Berkshire dumbo, and their mother is Ratcity's Khloë, an agouti Berkshire dumbo. Because almost all my rats are from Ratcity, Q&Q are related to my previous rats; the great-great-grandmother of Q&Q is Sharpay, the grandmother of Dino and the mother of Uisce & Ulixes (and through U&U there's even a link all the way back to Chester & Casey and Dylan).

For now Quintis & Q still live at the breeder's, but I hope they'll be able to move up here within a few weeks (end of this month, or else early next month?). I've been waiting for quiete some time now, so what's another few weeks? True. Still, the last weeks always seem to last the longest...
