Lefty was a very enthousiastic and busy little fellow, who was always running and climbing. He loved attention, but didn't like to be picked up. He was very gentle and sweet to both me and his cage mates, and he had even taken over the role of in-house dentist from Mink. Lefty was a little picky when it comes to food; he would even refuse dried bread unless there was a tiny bit of butter on it. Of course he was also picky with a reason: he was missing both his upper incisors.

Lefty lived in a cage in my livingroom, together with his brother Pancho, their friends the brothers Chester & Casey, Chester & Casey's younger cousin Dylan, and later their new friends the brothers Uisce & Ulixes.
