Surprise, surprise
May 22, 2005 - Every now and then, when I give my
rats a yogurt drop, I put the yogurt drop inside an empty tea bag wrapper
(sort of like a fortune cookie). This way they have to "unwrap"
it (read: rip it up) first, which is great fun for both the rat
doing it, and the human watching. The wrapper still smells a lot like tea,
which makes it even more intriguing for the rat.
However, by now my boys seem to be all too familiar with the routine
already, so they just remove the yogurt drop as quickly as possible, and at
all costs. I guess if I want to surprise them again, I will have to come up
with something better... ;-)
